生物化学的／生理学的作用
グリア細胞株由来神経栄養因子 (GDNF) はTGF-βス-パ-ファミリ-メンバ-である神経栄養因子です。GDNFはGDNFリガンドファミリ-の最初のメンバ-であり、今日ではそこにGDNF, ニュ-ツリン (NTN)、 パ-セフィン (PSP) アルテミン (ART) が含まれます。GDNFは15kDaのジスルフィドホモニ量体糖タンパク質です。成熟ラットとヒトのGDNFの配列には93%のホモロジ-があり、強い種間交差性があります。GDNFは、運動ニュ-ロン、中脳ド-パミン作動性ニュ-ロン、プルキンエ細胞、交感神経細胞など、中枢/末梢神経の種々の神経、様々な発達段階において、神経細胞の生存を促進します。セルトリ細胞、1型星状細胞、シュワン細胞、ニュ-ロン、松果体細胞、骨格筋細胞などがGDNFを発現することが知られています。さらに、in vivo において、GDNFを外部から供給すると、顔面運動ニュ-ロンの損傷が救済されることが示されています。
物理的形状
担体タンパク質として1 ugあたり50 ug BSAを含有するPBS（pH 7.4）中の0.2 um濾過溶液50 μLから凍結乾燥しました。
