General description

This certified Snap-N-Spike® solution is suitable for THCVA testing methods by GC/MS, LC/MS, or HPLC for applications in clinical toxicology, testing of Cannabis potency or impurity profiling, pharmaceutical research, forensic analysis, and urine drug testing. Cerilliant solution Certified Reference Materials (CRMs) of cannabinoids are supplied in a convenient, quantitative, US DEA-exempt solution format and with TK#s for Canadian customers.

Tetrahydrocannabivarinic acid is the acidic precursor of the phytocannabinoid tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV).

Application

The Certified Reference Material (CRM) in solution can also be used as follows:
  • Determination of 18 cannabinoids and their metabolites in 55 forensic serum samples by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS)
  • Screening and measuring 16 cannabinoids in cannabis plant materials, plant extracts, edible cannabis oils, and cannabis-based cosmetic products by 1H qNMR method and a novel 2D-COSY qNMR method
  • Development and validation of liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) method for quantifying 17 cannabinoids in cannabis and hemp samples
  • High-performance liquid chromatography-diode array detector (HPLC-DAD) method-based determination of 16 cannabinoids in hemp concentrates
  • Base-line separation and quantification of 18 cannabinoids by liquid chromatography-diode array detector (LC-DAD) method

Features and Benefits

  • Fully characterized under ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17034 accreditation
  • Accompanied with a comprehensive Certificate of Analysis (CoA) with data on stability, homogeneity, accuracy of concentration, uncertainty, and traceability
  • Rigorously tested through real-time stability studies to ensure accuracy and shelf life
  • Gravimetrically prepared using qualified precision balances to ensure minimal uncertainty
  • Flame sealed under argon into ampoules for long-term shelf life
  • Offered in a convenient, DEA-exempt format to improve laboratory efficiency
