His-tagged recombinant fragment corresponding to 100 amino acids from the C-terminal, cytoplasmic domain of human Prolow-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 1 (LRP-1).

Zastosowanie

Anti-LRP1 85kDa subunit, clone 4G7 ZooMAb, Cat. No. ZRB1311, is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody that specifically detects LRP1 85kDa subunit and has been tested for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunocytochemistry, and Western Blotting.

Western Blotting Analysis: A 1:1,000 dilution from a representative lot detected LRP1 85 kDa subunit in HEK293 cell lysate.

Flow Cytometry Analysis: 1 μg from a representative lot detected LRP1 85kDa subunit in one million HEK293 cells.

Immunocytochemistry Analysis: A 1:100 dilution from a representative lot detected LRP1 85kDa subunit in C6, PC12, C2C12, SH-SY5Y cells.

Prolow-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 1 (UniProt Q07954; also known as A2MR, Alpha-2-macroglobulin receptor, APER, Apolipoprotein E receptor, CD19. LRP-1) is encoded by the LRP1 (also known as A2MR, APR) gene (Gene ID: 4035) in human. LRP-1 is single pass type I membrane protein that is expressed in most tissues, but is abundant in liver, brain, and lung. It serves as a major VSMC receptor with a crucial role in maintaining vessel wall integrity and its expression in adult smooth muscle cells is shown to be essential for maintaining a contractile phenotype. LRP1 is synthesized with a signal peptide sequence (aa 1-19) and is processed in trans-Golgi network by Furin to generate a 515 kDa alpha subunit and an 85 kDa beta subunit that contains the 100-amino intracellular domain (LRPICD; aa 4445-4544). The alpha and beta subunits are non-covalently linked during LRP1 transport to the cell membrane. LRP1 recognizes and mediates the endocytosis of more than 40 different ligands, including apolipoprotein E (ApoE), APP and amyloid beta. It is the primary receptor mediating transport of amyloid beta peptides across the blood-brain barrier into circulation, thereby clearing them from the brain. LRP1 is required for early embryonic development and is involved in cellular lipid homeostasis and plasma clearance of chylomicron remnants and activated LRPAP1 (alpha 2-macroglobulin). Excessive copper accumulation in the brain has been linked with reduced LRP1 mediated clearance of amyloid beta peptides across the blood brain barrier, which may contribute to complications of Alzheimer′s disease. This ZooMAb recombinant monoclonal antibody, generated by our propriety technology, offers significantly enhanced specificity, affinity, reproducibility, and stability over conventional monoclonals. Przechowywanie i stabilność

Recommend storage of lyophilized product at 2-8°C; Before reconstitution, micro-centrifuge vials briefly to spin down material to bottom of the vial; Reconstitute each vial by adding 25 μL of filtered lab grade water or PBS; Reconstituted antibodies can be stored at 2-8°C, or -20°C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaws.
