General description

(S)-Trolox methyl ether is a chiral derivatizating agent, which is employed for derivatizing enantiomers into diastereoisomers.

Application

(S)-Trolox methyl ether may be used as a chiral derivatizing reagent for the following:
  • analysis of chiral alcohols by capillary gas chromatography (GC) and supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC)
  • enantiomeric separation of several benzodiazepines using gas chromatography (GC), supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) and subcritical fluid chromatography techniques

Packaging

Bottomless glass bottle. Contents are inside inserted fused cone.

Other Notes

Chiral derivatizing agent for alcohols; some methyl substituted primary alcohols which are difficult to separate otherwise, can also be separated
