General description

Indium(III) nitratehydrate is used in the preparation of indium(III) oxide nanoparticles and otherindium complexes.

Application

Indium(III) nitrate hydrate can be used as a precursor to synthesize:
  • In2O3 nanoparticles via thermal decomposition. In2O3 is applicable as a catalyst for reverse water gas shift (RWGS) and CO2 conversion reactions.
  • AgInSe2 thin film on Si substrate via sol-gel spin coating technique.
  • Indium(III)complexes containing thiosemicarbazone. These complexes can be used in the fields of colorimetric and fluorescent probes.
