Zastosowanie
Acetylcysteine EP Reference standard, intended for use in laboratory tests only as specifically prescribed in the European Pharmacopoeia.
Działania biochem./fizjol.
Przeciwutleniacz i środek mukolityczny. Zwiększa komórkowe pule zmiataczy wolnych rodników. Zapobiega apoptozie w komórkach neuronalnych, ale indukuje apoptozę w komórkach mięśni gładkich. Hamuje replikację wirusa HIV. Może służyć jako substrat dla mikrosomalnej transferazy glutationu.
