SOX4 (SRY (sex determining region Y)-box 4) is an important developmental transcription factor. This protein is of 47kDa and coded by a single exon. It consists of a high mobility group DNA-binding domain (DBD) . It is usually overexpressed in different types of malignancies . SOX4 is mapped to human chromosome 6p22.

These images and the collection of this vast data set can be viewed on the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) site by clicking on the Image Gallery link. We also provide Prestige Antibodies® protocols and other useful information.

It is essential for the establishment of pan-neuronal protein expression. SOX4 is also a necessary factor for precise differentiation and proliferation in various tissues.
