アプリケーション
BACは、ポリアクリルアミドゲルの可逆性架橋剤として使用されます。適切な還元剤を用いれば、ジスルフィド結合を切断できます。DNA精製における推奨使用量は、アクリルアミド:BAC=12:1です。4%ゲルのスライス1 gに100mM DTT含有TBE溶液(pH 8.3)5 mLを添加すると、30分以内に溶解します。ゲルを迅速に溶解させるための至適pHは8.3です。
BACは、ポリアクリルアミドゲル上で巨大分子を分離しやすくするためのゲル用可逆的架橋剤です。ジスルフィド結合は適切な還元剤で切断できます。 1-gスライスの4%（12：1）のゲルを、TBE（pH 8.3）に溶解した100 mM DTT 5 mL中に入れると、30分未満で溶解します。
