Sodium persulfate、別名Sodium peroxodisulfate、は、無機化合物で、水溶性の強酸化剤であり、安定で取り扱いが簡単です。遷移金属触媒を用いた反応や金属フリーの反応などの有機合成反応において酸化剤として一般的に使用されます。さらに、重合開始剤として使用されたり、加熱活性化分解を介した硫酸ラジカルアニオンの合成において使用されたりします。
アプリケーション
過硫酸ナトリウムは以下で酸化剤として使用できます：
- スルホン化インデノンを合成するための、2-アルキニルベンゾニトリルとアリールスルフィン酸ナトリウムのラジカル環化カスケード反応。
- 環式および非環式ケトンのラクトンまたはエステルへの、シリカ担持塩化アルミニウム触媒によるバイヤー・ビリガー酸化。
