製造時のヒト暴露の理由から、生体異物化合物である2-フルオロアニリンの代謝と排出は重要です。主に4-ヒドロキシル化とそれに続く硫酸塩またはグルクロニドの生成により、非常に効率的に代謝されることが知られています。N-アセチル化もまた見られます。投与量の少なくとも80%が24時間以内に尿中に排泄されます。2-フルオロアニリンは、4-ヒドロキシル化とそれに続くp-ベンゾキノンイミンの生成により肝臓への毒性作用を及ぼします。
