邻苯二胺(o-PD)是一种无色的非荧光分子。
邻苯二胺二盐酸盐（OPD）是一种显色底物，因为利用辣根过氧化物酶缀合物，因此可用于酶联免疫吸附试验（ELISA）程序。底物产生可溶的最终产物，其颜色为橙棕色，并且可以在450 m下通过分光光度计读取。可以用3N HCl或3M H2SO4终止OPD反应，并在492 nm处读取。
應用
在酶联免疫吸附试验(ELISA)中，邻苯二胺盐酸盐用作辣根过氧化物酶偶联二抗的底物。
重構
将一片药片溶于 pH 5.0 的 0.05M 磷酸盐-柠檬酸盐缓冲液中至所需浓度（通常使用0.4mg/ml 的 OPD 浓度）。使用前，在每 100ml 底物缓冲溶液中加入 40 μl 新鲜的 30％ 过氧化氢，现配现用。片剂分别包装在箔包内。
