Sodium tripolyphosphate (STPP) is widely employed as a deflocculant. The major applications of STPP as laundry detergents and cleansing agents. STPP provides benefits such as pH buffering, soil emulsification and hard water sequestration for effective surfactant performance.

Aplicação

Sodium tripolyphosphate is used:
  • As a corrosion inhibitor for steel.
  • In the preparation of chitosan nanoparticles (CSNPs) by ionic gelation.
