General description

CF 555 succinimidyl ester (CF555 SE) is used for labeling proteins or other biomolecules having an amine group. The succinimidyl ester group of the dye reacts with an amine group to form a stable amide linkage.

Application

CF 555 succinimidyl ester has been used to label concanavalin A for fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) experiments.

Features and Benefits

1. Has comparable brightness and photostability as Cy®3 and Alexa Fluor555. 2.Highly water-soluble. 3. pH-insensitive.

Preparation Note

Protect from light and moisture

Reconstitution

Dissolve in DMSO

Here we report fluorescence turn-on synthetic lipid rafts by self-assembly of a cationic distyrylanthracene derivative on a negatively-charged sheet in an aqueous solution. First, the negatively-charged 2D membrane structure is formed by lateral associations of aromatic rods with carboxylate groups.

Our team of scientists has experience in all areas of research including Life Science, Material Science, Chemical Synthesis, Chromatography, Analytical and many others.
