General description

The Mouse MCP-1 ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of mouse MCP-1 in serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants.

Immunogen

Recombinant Mouse MCP1

Application

For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
Please refer to the attached General ELISA KIT Procedure (sandwich, competitive & Indirect ELISA)

Biochem/physiol Actions

Monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1) or chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 2 (CCL2) is expressed in the suprachiasmatic nuclei (SCN) in the hypothalamus of mice. It has a role in the survival and proliferation of microglia. MCP-1 has been shown to activate GTPases like cell division control protein 42 (CDC42) and Ras-related C3 botulinum toxin substrate 1 (Rac1).
