General description
HL-1 Cell Screened Fetal Bovine Serum is exclusively of US origin. Each lot is sterile filtered and mycoplasma, endotoxin, and virus tested. Additionally, each lot is screened using HL-1 mouse cardiac muscle cells (cat. no. SCC065) to ensure maintenance of differentiated cardiomyocyte phenotype and contractile activity in vitro. A Certificate of Analysis is available upon request.
This serum has been derived from blood aseptically collected in USDA approved abattoirs in the United States of America. This serum was aseptically processed and filter sterilized in the United States. The country of origin of the the crude blood (donor cow origin) is the United States.
Application
This serum is US Origin FBS and has not been heat inactivated or gamma irradiated.
Quality
Each lot is tested and qualified for use with mouse HL-1 cardiac muscle cell line.
Storage and Stability
Frozen FBS should be stored at -20ºC until expiration date.
