Application

1-Ethyl-3-methylimidazolium hydrogen sulfate [Emim][HSO4] can be used as a reactant to prepare gel polymer electrolyte membranes. By incorporating ionic liquid into the gel polymer matrix, the resulting membranes can exhibit enhanced ionic conductivity and improved electrochemical performance.
