ZooMAb® antibodies represent an entirely new generation of recombinant monoclonal antibodies. Each ZooMAb® antibody is manufactured using our proprietary recombinant expression system, purified to homogeneity, and precisely dispensed to produce robust and highly reproducible lot-to-lot consistency. Only top-performing clones are released for use by researchers. Each antibody is validated for high specificity and affinity across multiple applications, including its most commonly used application. ZooMAb® antibodies are reliably available and ready to ship when you need them.

Specyficzność

Clone 1B10 is a ZooMAb® rabbit recombinant monoclonal antibody that specifically detects Olfactomedin-4 (OLFM4). It targets an epitope within 21 amino acids from the C-terminal half.

Immunogen

KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to 21 amino acids from the C-terminal half of human Olfactomedin-4 (OLFM4).

Zastosowanie

Quality Control Testing

Evaluated by Western Blotting in Human small intestine tissue lysate.

Western Blotting Analysis: A 1:10,000 dilution of this antibody detected OLFM4/Olfactomedin-4 in Human small intestine tissue lysate.

Tested Applications

Immunofluorescence Analysis: A 1:100 dilution from a representative lot detected OLFM4/Olfactomedin-4 in human small intestine tissue sections.

Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) Analysis: A 1:100 dilution from a representative lot detected OLFM4/Olfactomedin-4 in Human small intestine tissue sections.

Affinity Binding Assay: A representative lot of this antibody bound OLFM4/Olfactomedin-4 peptide with a KD of 1.4 x 10-7 in an affinity binding assay.

Note: Actual optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user as specimens, and experimental conditions may vary with the end user.

Opis wartości docelowych

Olfactomedin-4 (UniProt: Q6UX06; also known as OLM4, Antiapoptotic protein GW112, G-CSF-stimulated clone 1 protein, hGC-1, hOLfD) is encoded by the OLFM4 (also known  as GW112, UNQ362/PRO698) gene (Gene ID: 10562) in human. Olfactomedin-4 is a homomultimeric protein that is synthesized with a signal peptide (aa 1-20), which is subsequently cleaved off to produce the mature form. Its olfactomedin domain is localized in amino acids 245-507.  It is strongly expressed in the small intestine, colon, and prostate, and is moderately expressed in the stomach and bone marrow. It plays an important role in the mucosal defense of the stomach and colon. Its expression is also observed in neutrophils. Its expression is upregulated in many viral and bacterial infections, and it appears to play an important role in regulating host innate immunity against bacterial infections. Olfctomedin-4 levels are elevated during early S phase of the cell cycle, which shows a gradual decrease during late S phase. OLFM4 is reported to be a target gene for the Notch signaling pathway, which regulates intestinal cell proliferation and differentiation. OLFM4 expression increases following activation of Notch signaling and it rapidly declines following treatment with Notch blockers. Increased expression of OLFM4 is observed in gastric, pancreatic, and early-stage colon cancer. It is reported to promote proliferation of pancreatic cancer cells by favoring the transition from the S to G2/M phase. This ZooMAb® recombinant monoclonal antibody, generated by our propriety technology, offers significantly enhanced specificity, Affinity, reproducibility, and stability over conventional monoclonals. Postać fizyczna

Purified recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody IgG, lyophilized in PBS with 5% Trehalose, normal appearance a coarse or translucent resin. The PBS/trehalose components in the ZooMAb formulation can have the appearance of a semi-solid (bead like gel) after lyophilization. This is a normal phenomenon. Please follow the recommended reconstitution procedure in the data sheet to dissolve the semi-solid, bead-like, gel-appearing material. The resulting antibody solution is completely stable and functional as proven by full functional testing. Contains no biocide or preservatives, such as azide, or any animal by-products. Larger pack sizes provided as multiples of 25 µL.

Rekonstytucja

300 µg/mL after reconstitution at 25 µL per vial. Please refer to guidance on suggested starting dilutions and/or titers per application and sample type.

Przechowywanie i stabilność

Recommend storage of lyophilized product at 2-8°C; Before reconstitution, micro-centrifuge vials briefly to spin down material to bottom of the vial; Reconstitute each vial by adding 25 µL of filtered lab grade water or PBS; Reconstituted antibodies can be stored at 2-8°C, or -20°C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaws.
