The nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (NFE2L2) is a major transcriptional factor. NRF2 gene codes for NFE2L2. It is a member of the cap ‘n′ collar (Cnc) family of basic leucine zipper transcription factors. It is located on human chromosome 2q31.

Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: ICC/IF: 1:100-1:1000, IHC-P: 1:100-1:1000, IP: 1:100-1:500, WB: 1:500-1:3000, ChIP assay: Assay-dependent dilution. Not yet tested in other applications. Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the end user.

They share highly conserved regions that are distinct from other bZIP families, such as JUN (MIM 165160) and FOS (MIM 164810), although remaining regions have diverged considerably from each other (Chan et al., 1995 [PubMed 7868116]).[supplied by OMIM]
