シリコンオイルは、シロキサン繰返し単位（–Si–O）の直鎖と、さまざまな側鎖をもつ疎水性ポリマー化合物の一群を形成しています。湿潤性、潤滑性、滑らかな滑り挙動、機械的強度など、そのユニークな特性により、電気絶縁体、消泡剤、実験用および潤滑剤などに、広く使用されています。
シリコン油は、有機側鎖を有する低粘度の液体重合シロキサンです。シリコン油は、in vitro条件下で眼内炎を引き起こす微生物に対して抗菌活性を示します。
アプリケーション
シリコンオイルは、網膜と網膜色素上皮の接着を維持できるため、網膜硝子体手術の眼内液体として使用できます。
二相分配バイオリアクターで、ガス流出物の処理に使用できます。シリコンオイルは水相と適合性があり、二相間の乳化を改善します。
また、ガラス表面の疎水性コーティングにも使用できます。(4)
