生化/生理作用

羧肽酶 G 是溶酶体,巯基依赖性蛋白酶,其逐渐切割 γ-谷氨酰蝶酰多聚-γ-谷氨酸,产生蝶酰-α-谷氨酸(叶酸)和游离谷氨酸。它被认为对 γ-谷氨酰基键具有高度特异性,但对于离去基团的 C-末端氨基酸则不具有高度特异性。该同型二聚体的分子量约为 90kDa。酶被 Zn2+ 离子激活。

單位定義

在 pH7.3,30℃ 下,一个单位的酶每分钟将(+)氨甲蝶呤水解产生 1.0 μmole L-谷氨酸。
