在存在氯化锌和催化剂量的Hünig碱的条件下，丙二酸乙酯钾盐（乙基丙二酸钾）可与芳基腈反应，生成β-氨基丙烯酸酯。丙二酸乙酯钾盐在合成乙基丙二酸叔丁酯过程中作为中间体。
應用
丙二酸乙酯钾盐（乙基丙二酸钾）可用于原位生成(三甲基甲硅烷基)丙二酸单乙酯，后者可被酰化以制备各种β-酮酸酯或亚烷基丙二酸酯。
