Applicazioni

(±)-6-Chloro-PB hydrobromide has been used as a dopamine D1 receptor (Drd1a) agonist to study the role of the drd1a-dopamine receptor inactivation of extracellular signal‑regulated protein kinase 1/2 (ERK1/2) in the wild-type and striatum of dopamine-depleted mice. It has also been used as a Drd1a agonist to identify the contribution of D1 (D1R)-like dopamine receptor signaling on learning and memory in Barnes maze in rats.

Azioni biochim/fisiol

(+/-)-6-Chloro-PB HBr is a full D1 dopamine receptor agonist.

Local protein synthesis and its activity-dependent modulation via dopamine receptor stimulation play an important role in synaptic plasticity - allowing synapses to respond dynamically to changes in their activity patterns. We describe here the metabolic labeling, enrichment, and MS-based identification

Abrupt tobacco/nicotine cessation after chronic use causes various withdrawal symptoms/signs. There is evidence that dysfunction of brain dopaminergic system might be responsible for some nicotine withdrawal symptoms. The hypothesis for the present study was that different dopaminergic agonists would relieve

Chronic stress exerts detrimental effects on higher order executive functions that are governed by the prefrontal cortex. Experimental data suggest that dopamine D1 receptor-mediated hypodopaminergic dysfunction may underlie stress-induced cognitive deficits. However, although the involvement of D1 receptors in working

Chronic exposure to drugs of abuse alters brain reward circuits and produces functional changes in the dopamine (DA) system. However, it is not known whether these changes are directly related to drug-driven behaviors or whether they simply are adaptive responses
