Escitalopram Oxalate, a highly selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitor antidepressant, is a pure S-enantiomer of the racemic, bicyclic pthalates derivatives of citalopram. It is mainly developed for the treatment of depression and anxiety disorders.

Aplicação

Escitalopram Oxalate may be used as a pharmaceutical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in pharmaceutical formulations using high-performance thin layer chromatography technique and reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography technique.

These Secondary Standards are qualified as Certified Reference Materials.
