General description

Autoclavable Plastics - Contact clear polypropylene
Working Volumes - 100 mL for 300 mL flasks (150-200 rpm for 2 in. throw)
High 02 absorption rate achievable by unique baffle and turbo-vane closure design. CAP-FLO closure with DRI-GAUZE filter lining provides uniformity and consistency in gas diffusion.
Flasks, closures, filters or membrane linings are sterilizable by autoclaving. Wide-mouth opening allowing easy access for media preparation, harvest and cleanup. Barrel-shaped design provides wide vortex and more operational capacity than conventional Erlenmeyer flasks. Slip-on closure protects flask neck from airborne particles and eliminates the need for flaming. Provides better culture growth and productivity than Erlenmeyer flask.
Caps are not included with flasks.
  • CAP-SIL closure with silicone membrane lining minimizes evaporation.
  • 300 mL flasks for front-line culture development studies.
  • 2.5L flask for production studies, equipped with a handle.

Optimising membrane protein production yields in Escherichiacoli can be time- and resource-consuming. Here, we present a simple and effective Membrane protein Single shot amplification recipe: MemStar. This one-shot amplification recipe is based on the E. coli strain Lemo21(DE3), the PASM-5052
