peptide corresponding to the human CRTH2 (GRP44) protein, near the C-terminus (amino acids 329-348).

Application

Anti-CRTH2 (GRP44) antibody produced in rabbit is suitable for western blotting at a working dilution of 1:500-1:1,000 using CRTH2- transfected Jurkat cells.

Biochem/physiol Actions

CRTH2 (chemoattractant receptor-homologous molecule), is known as the putative G protein-coupled receptor (GP44), is expressed on T helper 2 (Th2) cells. It is also referred as DP2, DL1R and CD294. It′s a human protein and belongs to G protein-coupled leukocyte chemo attractant receptor family. It is not expressed on human amniocytes or myocytes. On activation of CRTH2, PGD(2) induces human osteoclast apoptosis and the apoptosis intrinsic pathway. CRTH2, CD4 and T cells all together may be involved in the pathogenesis of IgG4-related Lacrimal gland enlargement (LGE) causing Mikulicz′s disease (MD).

Solution of 1 mg/mL in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.02% sodium azide.
