General description
Supplement M is an additional reagent for use in the SimPlate® yeast & mold color Indicator. SimPlate® Binary Detection Technology combines proprietary media and a patented plating device to provide fast and accurate quantitative results for key groups of indicator organisms. Defined substrates incorporated into the media are utilized to detect multiple enzymes and redox reactions associated with the target organisms resulting in chromogenic or fluorescent changes to the media, providing easy-to-read results. Supplement M is added to improve the color change of the media during incubation.
Application
Supplement M is added to SimPlate® trays to improve the color change reaction in media for the detection of pathogenic organisms in raw meat and spices without the need for optimization of reaction and cycle conditions.
