General description

Cell synchronization agent. Induces apoptosis by blocking mitosis in HeLa S3 cells. Depolymerizes microtubules and limits microtubule formation. Appropriate dilutions inactivate spindle fiber mechanism during metaphase, systematically immobilizing chromosomes at the metaphase plate.
