General description

acc. to EN 1484-H3/DIN 38409-H3 as potassium hydrogen phthalate in water, stabilized 1000 mg/l Certipur®
Total organic carbon (TOC) is a measure of the total amount of carbon in an organic compound. It is a critical parameter to evaluate the water quality for possible organic contamination.

Application

This standard is intended for the calibration and validation of analytical instruments used to measure total organic carbon (TOC).

Features and Benefits

  • Ready-to-use solution
  • Traceable to the SI and higher order standards from NIST
  • Assigned value based on a purity determination by mass balance and gravimetrically prepared value
  • Homogeneity assessed in accordance with ISO Guide 35
  • Available in high-density polyethylene bottles of volume 100 mL to assure safe delivery
  • Accompanied with a certificate of analysis (CoA) having information on the expiry date for an effective audit
  • Prepared using deionized water as a solvent
