Biochem/physiol Actions

18:1 PEG550 PE is known to reduce the random binding of quantum dot tagged proteins to the lipid bilayer in liposomes. Polyethylene glycol (PEG) conjugated phospholipids protect the liposome steriochemistry and are recommended for use in liposome formulation.
