bis(14:0 PE)-DTPA (Gd)(bis(1,2-dimyristoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine)-N-N′-diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid (gadolinium salt)) has been used in liposome preparation for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) measurements.
Biochem/physiol Actions
Gadolinium based lipid complexes are contrast agents in magnetic resonance imaging. Such lipid complexes are used in liposome-based bilayer preparation for imaging.
