General description
Designed for processes requiring uncompromised safety. Containsboth a digital temperature controller and an independent back up controller in the same cabinet to provide 100% redundant control of safety critical reactions. The set temperature is entered into the primary digital meter, then a high temperature limit is entered into the backup digital meter. Both meters monitor the reaction and in the event of an electrical failure or over temperature condition, the remaining meter takes control and permanently turns off output power.
- Regulates heating mantles, hot plates, ovens, heating blocks, etc.
- Safe 100% solid-state electronics, double fused, unbreakable thermocouple probe, automatic over-temperature circuit
- Programmable ramp-to-set point temperature control on the 200-Series model
- Serial communications for PC control and data logging
- Two power outlets for large heaters and mantles up to 22 L
- Over-temperature circuit stops heating and sounds alarm
- Both USB 2.0 and RS232 communication ports for PC control and data logging
