一般說明
α-胰凝乳蛋白酶属于丝氨酸蛋白酶的胰蛋白酶家族。它作为无活性的前体胰凝乳蛋白酶原分泌到肠中。第148位氨基酸的肽键断裂形成α-胰凝乳蛋白酶。胰凝乳蛋白酶原由基因CTRB1编码，并定位于人类染色体中的16q23.1。
應用
α-来自人胰腺的胰凝乳蛋白酶已用于检测N-烷基靛红对哺乳动物丝氨酸蛋白酶的抑制作用。
