General description
iFluor 647 succinimidyl ester is bright, stable far-red fluorescent dye that has spectral properties comparable to Alexa Fluor™ 647 and Cy dye. It exhibits an excitation max at 656 nm and an emission max at 670 nm with an extinction coefficient of 250,000 cm-1 M-1. It has stronger fluorescence and high photostability. iFluor 647 can be used for covalent labeling of antibodies and detection by flow cytometry. Its fluorescence is independent of pH from 3 to 11. It exhibits good stability, selectivity, and reactivity with protein amine groups.
