Gene Information

Specificity

The antibody reacts with human laminin both in ELISA and on cells and frozen sections. It is able to precipitate laminin from the culture medium. The antibody does not inhibit neurite outgrowth from neurons induced by laminin as well as the binding of heparin to laminin. It does not react with laminin from rat and mouse. The binding of the antibody to human laminin is not inhibited by the laminin-pentapeptide Tyr-Ile-Gly-Ser-Arg (Iwanmoto, 1987).The staining of laminin was tested on a number of materials including human lung fibroblasts (IMR 90) and human skeletal muscle tissue.

Immunogen

Pepsin fragments of human laminin from placenta.

Application

Immunocytochemistry: (5-20 μg/mL)

ELISA: (5-20 μg/mL)

Immunohistochemistry: (5-20 μg/mL) Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user.
