General description

GranuCult® plus m-TGE (modified Tryptone Glucose Meat extract) broth also known as TGE broth is a non-selective microbial media. The media is compatible with samples without inhibitors.
Tryptone and meat extract present in the formulation forms the nitrogen and carbon source along with supplying essential nutrients. And glucose in the medium provides energy for microbial growth.

Application

GranuCult® plus m-TGE (modified Tryptone Glucose Meat extract) broth is used to detect total heterotrophic microorganisms in water, dairy products, and other products like beer, bottled water, cider, soft drinks, and wine samples by membrane filtration technique.
