General description
Ammonium niobate(V) oxalate hydrate is a bifunctional reactant that can play the role of niobium precursor and porogenic agent. It is widely used as a starting material to synthesize niobium oxide-based porous nanocomposites, which finds application in the field of photocatalysis, and ceramics .
Application
- Nanostructured Niobium and Titanium Carbonitrides as Electrocatalyst Supports.: This study investigates the synthesis and application of nanostructured niobium and titanium carbonitrides for use as electrocatalyst supports in various electrochemical reactions. The research highlights the potential of these materials to improve the performance and durability of electrocatalysts, making them suitable for applications in fuel cells and other energy conversion devices (McLeod et al., 2024).
- Nb(2)O(5) Coating to Improve the Cyclic Stability and Voltage Decay of Li-Rich Cathode Material for Lithium-Ion Battery.: This paper explores the use of Nb(2)O(5) coatings to enhance the cyclic stability and reduce the voltage decay of lithium-rich cathode materials in lithium-ion batteries. The findings demonstrate that the niobium-based coatings significantly improve the performance and longevity of these battery materials, indicating their utility in advanced battery technologies (Liu et al., 2023).
