Tested Applications

Western Blotting Analysis: A 1:1,000 dilution from a representative lot detected ATP Synthase β in lysates from A431 and NIH3T3, cells and Human liver tissue lysates.

Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) Analysis: A 1:100 dilution from a representative lot detected ATP Synthase β in Human liver tissue sections.

Flow Cytometry Analysis: 0.1 µg from a representative lot detected ATP Synthase β in one million HL60 cells.

Affinity Binding Assay: A representative lot of this antibody bound ATP Synthase β peptide with a KD of 8.8 x 10-8 in an affinity binding assay.

ATP synthase subunit beta, mitochondrial (UniProt: P06576; also known as EC:7.1.2.2, ATP synthase F1 subunit beta) is encoded by the ATP5F1B (also known as ATP5B, ATPMB, ATPSB) gene (Gene ID: 506) in human. ATP Synthase β is a mitochondrial inner membrane protein that is synthesized with a transit peptide (aa 1-47), which is subsequently cleaved off. It is part of the F-type ATPase that has two structural domains: F1 domain that contains the extra-membraneous catalytic core; and the F0 domain that contains the membrane proton channel. These two domains are linked together by a central stalk and a peripheral stalk. During catalysis, ATP synthesis in the catalytic domain of F1 is coupled via a rotary mechanism of the central stalk subunits to proton translocation. Subunits and β form the catalytic core in F1. ATP synthase produces ATP from ADP in the presence of a proton gradient across the membrane that is generated by electron transport complexes of the respiratory chain. This ZooMAb® recombinant monoclonal antibody, generated by our propriety technology, offers significantly enhanced specificity, affinity, reproducibility, and stability over conventional monoclonal. Purified recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody IgG, lyophilized in PBS with 5% Trehalose, normal appearance a coarse or translucent resin. The PBS/trehalose components in the ZooMAb formulation can have the appearance of a semi-solid (bead like gel) after lyophilization. This is a normal phenomenon. Please follow the recommended reconstitution procedure in the data sheet to dissolve the semi-solid, bead-like, gel-appearing material. The resulting antibody solution is completely stable and functional as proven by full functional testing. Contains no biocide or preservatives, such as azide, or any animal by-products. Larger pack sizes provided as multiples of 25 µL.

Rekonstytucja

Recommend storage of lyophilized product at 2-8°C; Before reconstitution, micro-centrifuge vials briefly to spin down material to bottom of the vial; Reconstitute each vial by adding 25 µL of filtered lab grade water or PBS; Reconstituted antibodies can be stored at 2-8°C, or -20°C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaws.
