Kindlin-2, also known as fermitin family member 2 (FERMT2) or pleckstrin homology domain-containing family C member 1 (PLEKHC1), is encoded by the gene mapped to human chromosome 14q22.1. Kindlin-2 is a member of the kindlin protein family and has a ubiquitous expression pattern.
