Anti-C1QTNF6 antibody produced in rabbit, a Prestige Antibody, is developed and validated by the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) project . Each antibody is tested by immunohistochemistry against hundreds of normal and disease tissues. These images can be viewed on the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) site by clicking on the Image Gallery link. C1QTNF6 (C1q and tumor necrosis factor related protein 6) is mainly involved in the fatty acid metabolism. It stimulates the phosphorylation of acetyl coenzyme A carboxylase (ACC) and fatty acid oxidation in myocytes via the AMPK-ACC pathway. In addition, C1QTNF6 also facilitates the phosphorylation and activation of the 5′-AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) in skeletal muscle cells. It has also been reported that interleukin-10 expression is stimulated by C1QTNF6 in macrophages thus proving the existence of an anti-inflammatory property in the protein.
