詳細
D-(+)-Glucose, a major product of photosynthesis, is a monosaccharide, which is a primary source of energy in the form of ATP for living organisms. It is the main component of starch (as stored energy) and cellulose (constituent of cell walls) found in the plants.
アプリケーション
D-(+)-Glucose can be used:
- In the investigation of glucose sensor performance.
- As an initiator in Butlerov reaction.
- In the preparation of an acid catalyst, which is used in the alkylation of phenols.

Genotyping studies of Australian Scedosporium isolates have revealed the strong prevalence of a recently described species: Scedosporium aurantiacum. In addition to occurring in the environment, this fungus is also known to colonise the respiratory tracts of cystic fibrosis (CF) patients.
