GATA3 plays a role in the development, survival, and function of innate lymphoid cell (ILC) subpopulations. GATA3 differentially regulates T(h)1/T(h)2 differentiation. It promotes the secretion of factors such as IL-4, IL-5 and IL-13 from Th2 cells.
