Application

Biotin-SS-tyramide is a cleavable, biotinylated reagent for tyramide signal amplification used in many applications including immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, electron microscopy, ELISA, and others. It can be used together with both chromogenic and fluorescence visualization methods. The linker can also be used for synthesis of chemical biology tools for labeling target proteins in biological experiments and assays. It possesses dual functionality: enrichment via the biotin and an embedded disulfide bridge for cleavage under reducing conditions or by glutathione in the lysosome.
