Sodium perchlorate monohydrate (NaClO₄· H₂O) is a hydrated sodium salt. Its crystals were reported to exhibit a monoclinic crystal system having space group C2/c. It is a strong oxidizer.

Applicazioni

Sodium perchlorate monohydrate can be:

• Used as a supporting electrolyte in the preparation of polypyrrole (PPy) film.
• Doped with host polymer NaCMC (sodium carboxymethyl cellulose) to prepare electrolyte film (NaCMC-NaClO₄ H₂O) which is used in the electrochemical cell.
• Used as an oxidizing agent to remove color from the textiles waste water.
