生化／生理作用

β-葡萄糖醛酸酶（β-GIc）是一种外切糖苷酶，催化复合碳水化合物的分解。在人体内可将结合胆红素转化为非结合形式，使胆红素适于重吸收。
在尿液代谢物分析中用于 葡萄糖苷酸缀合物的水解

品質

来自软体动物的多种β-葡糖醛酸糖苷酶也含有硫酸酯酶活性。

單位定義

在pH 5.0、温度37°C条件下，一单元sigma或改良的Fishman单元1小时会从酚酞葡糖苷酸释放 1.0 μg酚酞（30分钟实验）。
硫酸酯酶单元定义：一单位的硫酸酯酶每小时，pH5.0，37℃能够水解1.0 μmole p-硝基儿茶酚硫酸盐。

外觀

在~1.0 M硫酸铵中含有3 mM叠氮化钠作为保存剂的水相溶液。

It is the responsibility of trained Analytical Services laboratory personnel to follow this procedure as written.
