一般說明

纤连蛋白是一种具有多个结构域的糖蛋白。它包含一个N端、中央结合域和一个肝素结合域。牛血浆纤连蛋白具有带二硫键的多肽链,分子量分别为220和215 kDa。
纤连蛋白是粘着糖蛋白,存在于细胞表面和血浆中。纤连蛋白(FN)是一种多功能糖蛋白,相应的基因定位于人染色体2q34-36。该基因有75kb长并含有50个外显子。它存在有两种主要的异构体,一个可溶而另一种不可溶。前者存在与血浆中,而不可溶形式则存在于组织和软骨的细胞外基质(ECM)中。因在不同的区域存在可变剪切,故存在约20种不同的FN形式,其中有两个III型外显子的被称为Extra Domains A和B。
