人c-Myc原癌基因属于MYC癌基因家族,是在几种致白血病逆转录病毒中发现的禽v-Myc基因的人细胞同源物。c-Myc基因位于人类染色体8q24.21。其两个主结构域包括具有螺旋-环-螺旋/亮氨酸-拉链基序的N末端盒区域和C末端基本区域

生化/生理作用

许多人类肿瘤中观察到c-Myc原癌基因表达增加。在血管肉瘤中观察到Myc基因位点扩增,在伯基特氏淋巴瘤中Myc基因位点出现易位。c-Myc是主要的调控基因,可靶向多种代谢事件。位于人c-Myc氨基酸残基410-419(EQKLISEEDL)内的表位已在许多表达载体中广泛用作标签,使蛋白质能够作为c-Myc标记融合蛋白进行表达。抗c-Myc琼脂糖可用于纯化细菌裂解液或转染细胞中表达的c-Myc标记融合蛋白。

外觀

悬浮的琼脂糖颗粒(1:1,v/v)溶于0.01 M磷酸盐缓冲液中,含有15mM叠氮化钠。
