生化／生理作用
牛磺胆酸是胆固醇分解代谢的主要终产物。在肠肝循环期间，胆汁牛磺胆酸被微生物转化为牛磺酸脱氧胆酸和脱氧胆酸。它们通过载体介导的过程被肝脏重吸收，并通过肝酶转化为牛磺胆酸。
