Camellia sinensis (green tea) leaves standard reference material (SRM) is primarily intended to validate analytical methods for determining catechins, xanthine,and elemental composition in green tea leaves and similar matrices. Moreover,SRM 3254 can serve as a means of quality assurance for assigning values to in-house control materials. This SRM has also been analyzed for its DNA sequence.
