一般說明

麦芽提取物琼脂由于其丰富性和营养平衡而被认为是一种通用型生长培养基。它用于培养苛养菌。它们具有酸性pH值,用于酵母和霉菌的分离、培养和维护。麦芽提取物含有多糖,可作为能量来源。真菌蛋白胨用作氮源,琼脂是固化剂,可迅速产生生长旺盛,具有典型形态和色素沉着的微生物。可以添加乳酸、酒石酸或抗生素来抑制细菌生长,并使培养基更具选择性。Reiss建议使用改良麦芽提取物琼脂对 黄曲霉进行选择性培养。根据Rapp的说法,向麦芽提取物培养基中添加某些指示染料可区分酵母菌和细菌菌落。

應用

麦芽提取物琼脂被推荐用于检测、分离和计数各种材料中的真菌、酵母菌和霉菌,特别适合酵母菌和霉菌,还可培养用于微生物维生素测定的试验菌株。

準備報告

将50 g物质悬浮于1升蒸馏水中,加热至沸腾溶解。在115°C下加热10分钟灭菌。为抑制细菌生长,可加入2 ml 10%无菌过滤乳酸,将pH值调节至3.5。
