The list of Phosphatidylcholine products offered by Avanti is designed to provide compounds having a variety of physical properties. Products available include short chain (C3-C8 are water soluble and hygroscopic), saturated, multi-unsaturated and mixed acid PC′s. All of the products are purified by HPLC, and special precautions are taken to protect the products for oxidization and hydrolysis.

Aplicación

18:0 PC (DSPC) has been used in the preparation of microbubbles (MBs). It is suitable for use in the synthesis of methylene blue (MB)-liposome synthesis and in the preparation of unilamellar vesicles

Acciones bioquímicas o fisiológicas

18:0 PC (DSPC) liposomes/1,2-Dioctadecanoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine, along with Rhamnolipids (RLs) can serve as the best combination for drug delivery application. It can help to maintain the stability of curcumin.
